I bought this as a gift, and have not yet seen the contents or how it works, so I can only judge on the appearance. It looks great.

    Make Your Own Clock
This was for a 10year old. Everything went fine until the very last piece, a little green cog , needed to be installed. The piece wouldn't stay put and kept falling off so the clock doesn't work . The child was helped by an adult.
